it is technically feasible !

Ghyath Noureddine

Senior Software Engineer / Acting Tech Lead

I'm a senior software engineer and acting tech lead with 5+ years turning messy product requirements into technical plans, reliable systems, and developers who grow because I was in the room. I go deep on backend, plan across full-stack systems, and I'm currently focused on bringing agentic AI-assisted engineering into how teams actually ship.

Profile

Who I am, not just what I ship.

I believe the way we work together today quietly shapes what's possible tomorrow — a system built carefully now, a person mentored well now, a decision made thoughtfully now, all compound into something bigger later. I tend to get things done with my own hands rather than wait on someone else to move first, but what actually drives me is the goal itself: I look for the vision behind the work, then reverse-engineer the plan that gets us there.

I'm endlessly curious — new tools, new ideas, and new ways of working pull at my attention constantly, and I'd rather try something and be wrong than wait until I'm sure. Right now that curiosity is pointed at one place: how AI changes the way engineering teams work together, not just how individuals code faster, and I'm working toward leading a team through that shift.

How I work

A few principles that shape who I am.

Plan before I build

Before I write a line of code, I turn the business requirement into a technical approach and an estimate the business can approve. I plan against the broader vision behind the request, not just the ticket in front of me, so what we build can keep being extended instead of rebuilt.

Own it past the demo

I stay close to what I build in production. Monitoring, debugging, maintaining, and supporting it is where real ownership happens — not in the sprint demo.

Push back when it matters

I validate technical decisions against the business outcome, not just technical elegance — good ROI matters as much as good architecture. I once challenged a risky rewrite after a focused evaluation and avoided an estimated 185 wasted hours.

Bring the team with me

I try to leave every developer I work with more capable than I found them — right now, that's 8+ people across project teams I mentor and support.

Think in systems, not just code

I don't need to write every line of a system to plan how it should work. Understanding how the pieces fit together matters more than owning every one of them.

Be reachable, not just responsible

If a team hits a wall on the backend side — a bug, an incident, a flow they don't understand — I'd rather be easy to find than be the last line of defense nobody reaches.

Technical range

Gold where it counts, silver where it helps, bronze where I got curious.

FOO

Senior Laravel Engineer / Acting Tech Lead

Own the PHP/Laravel core across FOO's fintech product suite, and act as tech lead on the features I plan end to end — from technical approach to the estimate that gets it approved.

  • Own the PHP/Laravel core across FOO's fintech product suite — planning, building, maintaining, and supporting it end to end.
  • On the product department since day one of its shift to a core-products model — shipped and maintained FAAS (Fintech-as-a-Service), the Wallet solution, the Corporate solution, and supporting on other solutions.
  • Integrate with core microservices and external third-party providers through REST APIs, keeping data flowing reliably across internal and external system boundaries.
  • Act as tech lead on selected features: own the technical approach end to end, validated against business ROI, from solution design to the estimate that gets budget approval.
  • Sit in weekly feature planning to shape the technical solution up front, or to groom tickets so they're actually buildable by the time they reach a sprint.
  • Directly support and unblock developers across project teams that consume our products, covering PHP-side bugs, production incidents, and flow questions.
  • Investigate production issues — event-listener races, retry storms, slow APIs, bad payloads, partial-success integration paths — with a systematic debugging process across dashboards, logs, and request tracing.
  • Priorities shift constantly in a fast-moving product org — I adapt fast, re-sequence what needs to move, and keep the team focused on what actually matters right now.

Selected work

Project evidence from platform engineering, business systems, and AI-assisted engineering.

01 Full-stack ERP Lite — freelance lead + backend

Zen

A lean ERP platform — Core, Accounting, Inventory, Sales, and POS — built as project lead and backend engineer, working directly with the client from requirements through delivery.

Evidence

5 modules shipped in 2 months, now live and running the client's business.

02 Full-stack web + IoT — solo build

Laplaya HR

A full-stack team management and training platform — backend, frontend, and IoT — built solo for a restaurant HR manager, with attendance synced from the venue's existing card-reader hardware via a scheduled sync job.

Evidence

Ran for 2 years with 25+ active users before going offline.

03 Open-source CLI / SDK / MCP server

Trawl

A unified layer over the best web-search, scrape, crawl, and deep-research providers (Firecrawl, Exa, Tavily, Crawl4AI, SERP APIs, and more) — one API, CLI, SDK, and MCP server that routes every query to the best provider for it, with quota-aware fallback that drains free tiers first.

Evidence

Currently building in the open — OpenRouter/LiteLLM, but for web data.
